It also identifies the factors that influence the success of the storytelling method and explores children's responses to its implementation. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the storytelling method is effective in increasing Indonesian vocabulary in children aged 3–4 years. This is evident from the increase in the number of vocabulary words the children can pronounce after being taught using the storytelling method. The success of this method is influenced by several factors, including the selection of age-appropriate stories, the use of engaging supporting media, the teacher's storytelling skills, and a pleasant learning environment. In addition, children showed positive responses to the storytelling method, such as high enthusiasm, increased activeness in communication, and a willingness to imitate and use new vocabulary they heard.2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Penelitian Mahasiswahttp://ejournal.stitmuhngawi.ac.id/index.php/jpm/article/view/499PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL SEBAGAI BENTUK MEMBANGUN KARAKTER POSITIF ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK DHARMA WANITA SAMBIREJO 62025-07-28T14:03:22+00:00Tias Eka Cahyaningrum tiasekacahyaningrum@gmail.com
Character education is a form of activity to instill in children patterns or habits of good behavior for now and for the future. Traditional games can create various aspects of children's development that contain meaning and have positive values. Traditional games are a type of folk game that represents the cultural wisdom of the Indonesian people, which grows and develops in certain communities and is passed down from generation to generation and is played by children. There are several types of traditional games including engklek, clogs, jumping rope. Lack of empathy and cooperation with fellow friends, still likes to fight over toys and likes to make fun of friends. The teacher asks children to get used to sharing, loving each other and helping other friends, even though this has been implemented, sometimes children still like to make fun of each other. Researchers use a qualitative approach. The methods used are observation, interviews and practice playing traditional games. The aim of this activity is to build the character of children aged 5-6 years through traditional games. Traditional game activities were participated in by the children of Dharma Wanita Sambirejo Kindergarten 6. The research results showed that traditional games were able to train children's cooperation, physical motor dexterity, discipline and children's ability to deal with emotions and love each other with their friends. Researchers hope that in the future the school can create a competitive program that includes games with positive values that emphasize the togetherness of parents and children.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Penelitian Mahasiswahttp://ejournal.stitmuhngawi.ac.id/index.php/jpm/article/view/500EFEKTIFITAS MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL DALAM PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM2025-07-28T14:11:29+00:00Umi Chasanahumichasanah229@gmail.com
A teacher is also a learning medium for students. So a teacher must have innovation in the learning process, especially in learning SKI (Islamic Cultural History). Most SKI subject teachers still use the lecture method to convey Islamic history. This will have an impact on students' understanding if the teacher only uses the lecture method in delivering learning material. This is the aim of researchers in using audio-visual media in SKI learning. So that the delivery of learning material can optimize students' understanding. Usually students will feel more interested if they use certain media in the learning process. So delivering the material will be much more effective than using the lecture method. And the researcher's aim in this research is to determine the effectiveness of audio visual media and to determine the results of using audio visuals in SKI learning in class VIII B at MTs Al Huda 2 Jenawi, totaling 19 students. The use of audio-visual media is very effective in SKI learning. This can be seen from the students' ability to retell SKI material, students have public speaking skills, and students can think critically. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. From this research, the researcher hopes that future researchers can find media or methods that are more enjoyable and more effective in increasing students' understanding of SKI learning.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Penelitian Mahasiswa
