Abstract

This study aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of bullying, including its definition, various forms, negative impacts, and effective prevention strategies. The main objective of this activity is to create a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment for all school members, so that the teaching and learning process can take place optimally without any threats or pressure from bullying behavior. This stop bullying socialization activity was carried out at Jekawal 3 Elementary School, located in Tangen District, Sragen Regency, Central Java. The subjects in this study were all Jekawal 3 Elementary School students who actively participated in the outreach activities. The methods used in this socialization included interactive material presentations, discussions, and questions and answers to ensure that the messages conveyed were well received by the students. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in understanding among students. After participating in the socialization, they became more familiar with the definition of bullying or harassment, including recognizing its forms which are not only physical but also verbal and social. Furthermore, this activity highlighted the importance of comprehensive efforts to combat bullying, such as ongoing education, counseling that addresses children's psychological aspects, digital literacy for the wise use of technology to prevent cyberbullying, and learning about empathy and respect for others. Furthermore, addressing the root causes that drive individuals to become bullies is a crucial point that must not be overlooked in efforts to create a truly bullying-free school environment.
